26 (1) A tenant must pay rent if he is owed under the tenancy agreement, whether or not the landlord complies with the rental agreement, unless the tenant has the right, under this act, to deduct all or part of the rent. 2. The employer may terminate a worker`s lease for a rental unit that the employer leases or makes available to the employer for the duration of the employment by indicating the termination of the lease at the end of the employment. Interest is calculated on the basis of the interest rate set at the beginning of each year. Interest is paid on the anniversary of the deposit received by the owner. 7. Neither the Director`s decision to enter into an agreement within the meaning of the subsection (4) nor the terms of such an agreement can be the subject of a dispute resolution claim. Signing a lease is a legally binding obligation. The payment of a deposit is also an obligation. It insures the lease for you and the owner. Once you have paid your deposit, you cannot choose to move elsewhere. At the same time, your landlord cannot choose to rent to someone else.
2. If a fixed-term lease is still 6 months or more, the lessor cannot unreasonably withhold the consent required under item 1 above. Parking and storage fees: An owner may include parking and/or storage fees as part of a rental agreement or have a separate agreement for these costs. If parking or storage costs are included in the rental agreement, these cannot be increased beyond the total rent increase allowed. If your parking/storage fees are included and you think they have been increased to an inappropriate amount, please contact the branch for help. If your parking and/or storage fees are a separate agreement, there can be no limit to the amount they can calculate. The rental service recommends that you carefully read and understand each agreement before signing it. Tenants have not received interest on their deposit for a long time. In fact, since 2009, the interest rate is 0%.
